Sankey's history as a mill is first explored, opening as the Bee hive mill in the 1820s.

Photos taken as part of my Stage Four photoshoot, physically developed in the dark room to create a nostalgic feeling

this part of the mill was badly damaged by fire in the 1840's i therefore focused development on this section to emulate that.

Sankey's was re purposed as a nightclub in 1994, before closing permanently in 2017
